Sarah qualified at Portsmouth in 1994. She had previously worked within the A&E department at QAH for several years before joining the practice in 2001. She completed her BSc Nurse Practitioner course and became an independent prescriber in 2003. She has specialist skills in minor illness, paediatrics, asthma and COPD. As Lead Nurse she manages the nursing team and is responsible for the nurse led Same Day Clinic service. She was thrilled when she was asked to become a partner in the practice in 2007. She is married with two grown up children and lives locally in Portsmouth. She enjoys gardening, music and playing golf.
Trained at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and qualified in 2006. Initially working in Essex I then moved back locally where I grew up and completed my general practice training at the Homewell Practice. I have a special interest in respiratory medicine. In my spare time I enjoy going for walks with my dog, in the surrounding countryside.
I trained in Southampton University Medical School qualifying in 1994. Worked as a junior doctor in Portsmouth rotating through multiple specialities settling on Elderly Medicine. It was then I was tempted to General Practice and have not looked back since. I joined this practice in 2012 and became a Partner the following year. I live locally and enjoy dinghy sailing and watching my sons play rugby at Havant Rugby Club (my playing days have finished now!). I more recently have become involved in the shaping of the Future of General Practice locally working on the GP Alliance and MCP (Multidisciplinary Community Provider) Boards aiming to maintain and improve services in this difficult time.
I have been a partner with the practice since 1995 and I work 2 days a week in the practice and a day in education of doctors, I am a Trainer of GPs and supporting the practice placements with Dr Helen Whiting. Married and mother of 2 grown up children and has a horse called Tom to balance life. Dr Bowley has lived and worked in the area since her teens.
